We were 5 adults and 2 kids in our group. There are limited villa options for a small group size. The location and price of this villa were fantastic. Excellent views and in a nice local community. Good BBQ area and pool. Furnishings are sparse, but do not go there without grocery shopping for sure.
Our problem was with the service (or lack there of). The owner did not meet us at the villa. We dealt with the receptionist at their hotel nearby and they sent a maintenance guy to check us in (who did not speak any English). A couple of complaints we made about water logging in the shower were not attended to. There was no offer made to help arrange for a local chef, etc - and to initiate communication was quite difficult (due to language issues).
Overall, decent value for the money paid compared to other villas, but service needs to improve.
